Cigales rosé wines are distinctive thanks to their production process, being vinified as white wines but using a mixture of red and white grape varieties, choosing varieties that have adapted well to our soil, climate and cultural practices.

Experiments have been carried out over the years, collaborating with the oenology station of Castile and Leon, reaching the conclusion that, by using the right proportions of white varieties (Albillo, Verdejo and Sauvignon Blanc) together with red varieties (Tempranillo, Garnacha, Merlot and Syrah), the rosé wine obtained is typical of a Cigales wine but also meets the market's current demands in terms of colour, aroma and taste.

The vines have gradually been transformed since 1985, giving rise to plantings of varieties in suitable proportions to produce rosé wines but also to be able to experiment with reds.
